Bruce Gallaway
It's our sad duty to announce that Bruce Gallaway, maestro of sound, recently passed away.
Bruce was a hugely experienced sound recordist and contributed immeasureably to the whole Midnight Drives project. Although we only got to know him relatively recently, he quickly became a vital member of the team, a reassuringly unflappable presence on set, and a very good friend to boot. He was involved in a number of other recent film projects, including the first War-rag feature,
The Lark, as well as Brett Harvey's Govynn Kernewek film,
An Jowl Yn Agas Kegin, and it's quite clear to all of us that we simply couldn't have done any of these projects without him. Most of all, it was massively comforting to know that no matter what obstacles the shoot threw our way, Bruce had seen it all before. He will be deeply missed.
